Rich and enticing on the nose, with sweet Sherry, characteristic Irish whiskey oiliness, honey and blackcurrants. The palate is a complex blend of sweet and more austere, slightly metallic, notes; berries and restrained cinnamon spice.
Matured in Sherry Casks, a uniquely high proportion of 80% malt whiskey, with 20% of a sweet, batch distilled grain whiskey
