Wild Turkey is distilled and put into new barrels at a much lower proof than most Bourbons. A costly method that results in less of the flavour being cooked out.
The barrels used are made of the finest new oak with the heaviest char available, imparting a smoother flavour and a deep amber colour.

To make the perfect 101 Old Fashioned, pour half of the whiskey and all the bitters into a rocks glass with the sugar syrup, then add two cubes of ice and stir. Slowly add more ice and the remaining whiskey, whilst stirring until the sugar is diluted. Snap the orange peel over the drink to release the citrus oils and finally drop into the glass as garnish
